It was bound to happen. EasyJet watched Ryanair playing this game for quite some time and they very badly need to bring more money in so I’m not shocked at all.
If flights remain in double figures we can’t complain but once the flights are in the hundreds, then we will have something to cry about. Many of the flights I’ve looked at for the New Year and after are a great deal higher than they used to be. This new rule will be well and truly in place once normality returns and we will simply have to do as they request.
My New Years resolution is to learn how to travel with little or no luggage. There’s so many clothes in my wardrobe in Spain that I should stop bringing more and I plan to try.
