Torretas Monday after the rain - shame on the Town Hall

After all the promises and grand plans this is what the people of Torretas were left with on Monday night. If it was me I would fill several containers of this filthy water which is mixed with rainwater, sewage and rubbish ,and deliver it down to the Town Hall. Better still to wherever the Ex Mayor is being given an award for services to Torrevieja.

December 2005 I remember clearly 'driving' in this area with water half way up the wheels and car doors wondering what kind of Country have I come to live in 16 years later despite many promises NOTHING as changed in this part of town
It as improved along side the main rd near the ITV centre going towards La Siesta and St Louis which was a bad area because they have built drainage channels at the side of the road but the rest of the area nothing appears to have been done
We used to get this type of rainfall Once every 3-4 years its now an annual event and more than once a year as recent events have shown
I feel really sorry for the residents in some parts of Torrevieja They are not being looked after at all by the Council

It's about time governments spent less time and money pontificating about climate change and how we should eat less meat, buy electric cars, install heat pumps etc, and spend a bit more on measures to alleviate the worst of the effects.
