Car makers are as exotic about their car colours as paint Manufacturers - I has a Citroen which was described as Marron but was silver to everyone else. The change of model is odd though.

The evidence suggests that the vehicle in question is using false number plates which means the law is being broken both in the UK and Spain. Whether the OP reports this crime to the Spanish authorities is up to him. Bear in mind that any infractions/crimes associated with this vehicle could have repercussions on the legitimate owner of the VW registered with DVLA as SL58VCT. If he is not comfortable reporting the car to the GC the OP could email a photo of the vehicle to DVLA giving the location, date and time he spotted the car. Also, on most cars nowadays the VIN number of a vehicle can be seen on the passenger side of the windscreen. If the OP sends this to DVLA they can easily determine the correct VRM and the registered owner of this vehicle. It would then be up to DVLA as to what action should be taken.

False plates and when people check it looks insured and taxed, can drive around and not worry about cameras.or tickets... Good for criminals, thieves etc.

Thought it looked familiar. If you can photograph the vin plate and confirm its on Calle Antillas, which is the bottom road next to the scrub land I can report it to DVLA. I'm not out for a while yet.

SL58VCT is suppose to be a VW Polo 1.4SE, 3 door in grey. Mot and tax expires in December this year, and is shown as being insured on the motor insurance database.
Sounds like false plates to me.

Yes it is K
You wont believe this but i took my mobile to take a photo last night and the camera was stuck on a setting i couldnt take a picture on
I had a look on the windows and i couldnt see the vin, the problem is the window is partly down at the front so possibly it is obscured because of this, although i would have expected to see it on the other windows
I will try again tonight and make sure the flash is working ok before i go
Now i am more intrigued myself to find out more about the car
