It's looks like the building of 2200 news homes on Cala Mosca,the last virgin coastlne on the Orihuela Costa, is going ahead, and in fact, work has already started.
The Government Highways Agency has told the Save the Mosca platform that they have no intention of continuing the fight following the ruling of the Superior Court Justice of the Valencian Community.
The builder Gobniendo has said that it will be in a position to start building before the summer and much of the urbanisation will be completed by the end of the year.

Such a shame - but sadly IMO it has been merely a question of putting off the inevitable. Money was always going to win in the end. How much of the money earned by the Ayuntamiento as a result, AND in the future from taxes, will be spent on improving our lives here on the coast, I wonder? On past performance, not a lot!
