Are their any clubs for owners of pet birds around the Torrevieja towards Alicante area?

Take no notice Jacqueline B, and I would have thought that 'pet bird ' would have been a clue as opposed to ' wild bird ' .. but there you go.

You asked a serious question and you got an inappropriate reply and then you got another equally inappropriate reply, from someone who should know better, when you understandably took issue. For that I apologise.

I`m an ex-breeder of pet birds here and still keep many birds but no longer breed them
Unfortunately I don`t know of any pet bird clubs here in Torreiveja or the surrounding areas.

I have breeder friends mainly in the Elche area and I will ask but as I said, I haven't heard of any but maybe they have.

What birds are you talking about although you`ve probably been put off from from coming back on here.

Thank you JamesB for your kind reply. I am particularly interested in canaries. Hard to believe there is nothing between Torrevieja and Alicante! There is a pet shop in La Marina Playa who has a large stock of birds and bird products so I will enquire there when we are allowed to go out. I would just like to learn from someone ' in the know' as opposed to different opinions on Facebook!

Yes I had canaries at one point. A very popular bird with the Spanish.
Yes clubs of any kind are very good for meeting like minded people. I used to belong to a computer club and a model railway club, and made many good friends, but sadly both have finished now, but I have never found a pet bird club.
I`m on the Admin team on several bird groups on Facebook, sadly not canaries, but it's not just opinions that are given but genuine help.
I've enquired at all three Pets World stores, La Zenia, San Miguel and Torrevieja and none know of a pet bird club.
