Is there a water ban locally??

#1

Post: # 47480Post Rosiemac »

I’m hoping someone can tell me what the situation is like regarding the use of swimming pools in the Torrevieja area. My son in law thinks that the beaches will be crowded with people because he believes that all pools are out of action due to a water ban.
Please tell me he’s badly informed!!
A big thanks.

Haven't heard of it R in this part of Spain. The pool in our Community is open as usual. In March there was talk of water rationing as there was no rain but then it rained so all was well again.

Thanks Bee,
That’s good to know. Jon assumed that if the pools weren’t in use, the beaches would be even more crowded than usual.
I can now report the good news to him.
Hope all is well Bee.
Summer weather poor here at home and doubtful if we’ll get over in the near future as I was diagnosed with secondary aggression melanoma even though I’d never had primary cancer. I’ve had major surgery now and recuperating. Wonderful medical care since diagnosis on April 15th. We were in Torrevieja walking the boardwalk when I was given the shocking news.
I’m still finding it very difficult to believe.
Best wishes to everyone on the forum.

I was wondering why I hadn't seen any posts from you. Sorry to hear about the melanoma diagnosis. Coming to terms with it and all the treatment is difficult. I am sending you good vibes for a full recovery. Yes the weather is truly awful. I had the central heating on Sunday night as it was so cold.
