Orihuela Department of Urban Planning Crackdown

#1

Post: # 499Post Carl »

Policia Local have been tasked with verifying whether the "Vado Permanente" signs on properties are valid. If not valid then they will be removed.

Many of the "Vado Permanente" signs remain in place, particularly on the Orihuela Costa, but the annual fee for displaying the sign has not been maintained by the property owner.

The above sounds like Orihuela have just realised that they have been missing out on some revenue.

Going to be a busy time for the Orihuela Policia Local, as they have also been tasked with information gathering on the use of terraces, placement of tables and chairs by restaurants and bars.

Perhaps Orihuela will now crackdown on bars and restaurants extending their terraces into the roads.
