Opening pushed back to next Wednesday, assuming all paperwork is in order.

Well Wednesday came and went, but apparently it is definitely opening tonight at 7pm, allegedly. Although there seems to have been no communication or publicity from the Town Hall confirming that.

Hopefully it does Carl. It must be difficult for the different attractions not having any income for so long.

Unfortunately it will only be up for a few weeks before it has to be dismantled for the 2 day Reggaeton Festival in August, and then reassembled afterwards if the fairground operators still have the willpower.

Fair to remain at Antonio Soria Park into 2026.

The Torrevieja amusement fair will continue this year in the Antonio Soria park
The decision adopted seeks to avoid delaying the works of the leisure area of the port.
The Torrevieja City Council has sent this afternoon a joint statement with the Torrevieja Association of Fair Industrialists (ATIF). Through the Councilor for Occupation of Public Roads, Openings and Activities, Federico Alarcón has announced that the fair will remain one more year in the Antonio Soria park enclosure.
On the table was the possibility of moving the amusement fair to the port of Torrevieja for the months of July and August. However, the statement explains that after the suitability study in view of the consequences that this could entail, it has been decided to remain in this provisional location.
It was in June 2023 when, after more than six months of hiatus, the fair's attractions were put back into operation, but in the new location, Antonio Soria Park. Since they are already enduring a decrease in their income due to being away from their traditional location, they have considered staying in order to guarantee their return by 2026.
The fact of returning these summer months, according to his analysis, would mean interrupting the works in the new leisure area of the port and therefore delaying its completion, which in turn would delay the return of the amusement fair. This decision has been adopted by an absolute majority among the members of the association.
