Ingredients
- 250g fresh breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic granules
- ½ tsp ground white pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 3kg chicken drumsticks
- 120g butter, melted
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6. Line a large oven tray with baking paper. Combine all the ingredients, except for the chicken and butter, in a large bowl.
2. Brush the chicken pieces with the butter, then dip into the crumb mixture. Press the crumbs firmly onto the chicken. Arrange the crumbed chicken onto the prepared tray.
3. Bake for 40 minutes, turning halfway, until the crumbs are golden brown and the chicken is cooked through. Serve with watercress and lemon wedges, if liked.
