This appears on the face of it to be one of those tragic domestic situations where the carer-half of a couple passes away.

Re: Deceased Irish Gentleman & Wife In Hospital - Punta Prima
Carl this story seems to have been reported with several different versions. Hard to know what is the real situation. The latests report I read in Informacion said the man was 50 and was the carer of the elderly woman. Whichever it is a sad story of isolation and vulnerability which can affect the expat community more than most.

Re: Deceased Irish Gentleman & Wife In Hospital - Punta Prima
At the end of the article they are saying it happened in february , last year?
It's as if two stories have been mixed up ?
The bodies of the man and woman were discovered on February 13 at the residential property near the small town of San Fulgencio a 45-minute drive south of Alicante and around half an hour by car from the property where the latest grim find occurred.
Staff at a local council social services department are understood to have raised the alarm after the pair failed to answer their calls and they spotted part of a body lying on the floor inside the property.
Reports at the time said the man and woman suffered chronic illnesses and had been categorised by social services as 'vulnerable.'
