It sits on a site on a beautiful links golf course which is closed but due to open for play on 1st April. The site evolved many years ago when members drove from farther a field for a round of golf snd brought their towing caravan with them. Before long, many others started to do the same and eventually the club turned the land on the sand dunes into a site for members. There are 40 mobile homes on it and it’s idyllic. We’ve been on the site for over 35 years and our adult children still live it! I remember the children heading out to play golf with their little friends and racing in for food and rushing straight out again until dark. My sister and I decided to join the club as everyone else played so we didn’t but it didn’t take us long to become addicted to. Such happy days. With going to Spain so much we pretty much abandoned it but not so now. So glad we never got rid of it. Well take another trip down next week as it is a joy to be there.
If the weather's nice (dry) you really can't beat the scenery in the UK, including Southern Ireland, I hasten to add.

I've no intention of moving back to the UK but I do miss the lovely scenery.
Somerset was my favourite county, although I did hear that there are some dodgy characters from Yeovil.

I also missed fitted carpets and central heating but they were sorted years ago.
