Not years at all, I was referred for minor surgery in Jan I had the first 3 weeks later and the 2nd 3 weeks after that, I also had a referral for a minor wrist problem that took a little longer but that was not really important, I have no problem with the NHS whatsoever.

Many articles out there depending on what surgery you require, my son speaks with doctors often and it doesn't look good.

I really think there is a postcode lottery on waiting where I am its not bad at all, but I have friends in London who wait longer, as I said mine was fast, not so fast for my wrist referral but to be honest its non urgent so although that has been longer I wouldn't have minded waiting even longer.

Grant Shapps just said you need this app.

It has been made a bit easier now, just select your health at the bottom of screen and vaccine has its own label now:

Depending on the surgery depended whether it was listed before. Mine. Has only just shown becaus of the update on the APP.

Many thanks for the update retire1day, saves me keep asking my surgery to allow acces.

My Brother who is 60 just had his 2nd jab brought forward to next week from 4th June.

I think a lot depends where you live.

I was 12 weeks and 4 days. My in-laws had their first a week after me and 2nd two weeks before me, both are younger and healthier.

A lot depends on the age population of the area as to how quickly it is distributed out and the delivery.

But at the moment its going very well here in the UK apart from some groups not taking up the need for vaccine, e.g. Bolton.

A new section was added to the NHS app last night which provide the NHS / goverments thoughts on what is required for a vaccine passport.
it can be viewed via a qcr code on your mobile, then, scanned in by border control or you can print off a had copy for the same purpose

Thanks, just logged in and seen that. Somehow or another my son is getting a jab today, he is 23 and an accountant.
