That's an interesting one Fred. Can you not change the status of the van in Spain and pay the extra vehicle registration tax to convert it to a camper? Would it be that the seller didn't bother for one reason or another changing the status.

Thanks S for letting me know about your campervan , it helps to make a decision on buying or not
The parking spot for the campervan is my driveway O, so not a problem if i had one
Thats why i would need to sell my car, to make a space for a campervan
The sun is too fierce to park my old car on the road if i had both, its old but the bodywork and paint is excellent , plus the cost is too much for me owning two vehicles
