My daughter took delivery of a hybrid BMW earlier this summer. The dream of plugging it in and driving without the need to use fuel is just that! a dream After plugging it in overnight she managed 10/12 miles. Isn’t that shocking? The cost of buying the connection was something around £800.
We are nowhere near ready to abandon our petrol driven cars and the dream is an enormous disappointment.
Has the UK given up?
