I know fred, i always decline cookies where i can but never had a problem with loquax before this

Both sites work for me and in 4 browsers, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Brave, all fully loaded with Ad Blockers.

I doubt system restore will change anything but it's fully reversible so there is no harm in trying it.

You can usually change your IP address by turning off your router for a while, several minutes I would suggest or even overnight to allow time for it to be picked up by another user. After that you will find yourself allocated a new one.

In the good old/bad old day of copper connections it was often enough to simply reboot a router to get a new IP address which was very handy when downloading 'stuff' from sites which limited you in number of downloads over a certain time.

The Orange Livebox used to be particularly useful in that respect (but total crap otherwise!) as it has a facility to simply switch the internet connection off and back on in a tick box which refreshed the IP address in under 30 seconds!

I did try turning the router off for 10 minutes as you suggested but still no luck getting into Loquax
I have run out of ideas now , i will just have to wait to see if it reconnects one day soon
As i mentioned before this happened to someone in 2022 only on this site, and it magically came back about a week later
He was on about his provider recognising loquax as a child risk or something
I cannot find this anymore but found another 2 thread mentioning a problem with Loquax, the last is saying they are restricted from using the site because they have not posted on there enough
I have only made a comment on there once over the years , i just enter competitions others have posted

Loquax is another site, but I often have issue accessing it, it doesn't always like to load, it used to be decent.
Prize Finder is one that I haven't used.

same here have saved a load of advents from loquax only to find I now cannot access them as I havn't done enough posts!

Sorry i only just replied Fred, i didnt see page 2 had started
Nothing Fred, it just says at the top of the page about:blank and is continually spinning

I havent got a vpn on my chromebook fred, only had it on my old laptop

It could have been transferred across if you are using Chrome browser
