We were discussing this at length 13 years ago, and have continued to discuss it length over the years since every time there`s a new development or when the Keystone Cops want more funding.

Every single aspect of the McCann case has been discussed in depth many times and it's only because of the latest development that it's being discussed now, ... mainly in an adult, intelligent manner.

And the opinions formed by us thirteen years ago on .co.uk still stand today and are just being repeated ... again.

Your ' 13 minute scenerio` has been put forward before and was discussed .. so it hardly news to any of us now.

I looked at your theory at what happened and tried to visualise the scenario so i could see another possibility, believe it or not i am open to any other theories to reach the truth
But two things just do not make sense
First why would the intruder bludgeon madelaine so hard to kill her, i have never heard of an intruder bent on kidnap do this to a child , he would just hold her mouth to stifle any cries, if he was a paedophile intent on doing what they do he would not kill or seriously hurt her
And secondly if he did, what intruder would chance being caught by going to the kitchen, searching for bleach, then cleaning up the blood , and for what reason, if he left the blood to be seen why would that matter, i doubt he would be worrying about DNA unless he trod in it
Then where are the materials he used to clean up, a towel or dishcloth, again i doubt he would be thinking straight enough to put them in a bag for example and take them with him
Only someone that doesnt want the police to know about her death would take and have the time to do this

THREE burglars have been identified as prime suspects in the hunt for Madeleine McCann after detectives trawled through thousands of phone records.

Scotland Yard now believe the little girl was possibly snatched by crooks who accidentally woke her as they raided her family’s holiday apartment.

Yes good point Jimbo, I remember that.

And burglars don`t normally steal kid, s and as jimny1 say`s, much less murder one, clean up the crime scene thoroughly with bleach and then take the dead child with you.

I know there's a ready market for the proceeds from a burglary such as watches, jewellery etc, but there's not much call for freshly bludgeoned children !!

Unless it's in Papua New Guinea of course, where it would be looked upon as a tasty treat.

I have always been suspicious because of the McCanns phone history. I posted tbe following many years ago.
You may not have read it or be aware.
No parent prioritises deleting phone calls before handing phone to the police unless you have domething to hide.

The memories in the McCanns mobiles were incomplete and, in Kate McCann's case, selectively deleted.

Her mobile memory held details of 39 calls from 18.28 on Wednesday 25th April to 16.35 on 27th April 2007. After her arrival in Portugal on 28th April 2007, with the exception of one incoming call on Wednesday 2nd May 2007 at 11.21 (which, very interestingly, was the Swansea 'wrong number'), and one call from her husband at 23.17 on Thursday 3rd May 2007, everything else has been 'whoosh-clunked' from memory. These deletions could have been accidental, but a high degree of cunning could be implied. Why would she selectively delete everything up to Thursday 3rd May 2007 with the exception of one wrong number and what was her reason for deleting three of the four calls, between 23.14 and 23.17, from her husband on that critical night'. A possible answer is that she wished to avoid alerting the PJ to evidence that details of around 40 calls had been erased and she felt happier leaving something uncontroversial (or misleading) in memory for them to find. Another answer is that, unsurprisingly, she was under the most extreme stress imaginable following the disappearance of her daughter: but why, in that case, give priority to deleting anything. It is the last thing most parents would think about in the circumstances.
