As freddo says, whether you're using a VPN or not, its still stealing.
A virtual private network (VPN) gives you online privacy and anonymity by creating a private network from a public internet connection. VPNs mask your internet protocol (IP) address so your online actions are virtually untraceable.
We know what VPN means .... but what are you stealing ... and freddo has retracted what he said anyway.
What am I stealing watching BBC iplayer via VPN or anything else for that matter.
We know... Some might not ?
So are you saying BT sport is not a pay per view channel ?
And to watch Bbc i player you should have a licence.
And no doubt you use a vpn to get a UK ip.address,
Because Spanish ip's are blocked.
So technically you are stealing.
and what if they using a VPN within UK is that considering stealing as well? If the site was worried about VPNs they would block them.

It doesn't and it's just a sneaky link to try NordVPN and
I could have posted a llnk to the best VPN providers that doesn't include a free trial to one. !!!
.
For what it's worth, I use PrivateVPN to watch BBC iPlayer. It isn't illegal, I have no morals and I sleep very well at night.
I also pay enough in Sky subscrptions to pay for three TV licences.

That is what I thought, you would have thought that they would put in their own services not recommending something or how to do it without paying a third party. They could had validated themselves as well.

I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me why using a VPN to watch BBC iPlayer is ' technically' stealing because I haven't got a TV licence and what is actually being stolen.

Not technically stealing, but not technically legal
Can I use BBC iPlayer when I'm outside of the UK?
Due to rights agreements, you need to be in the UK to stream and download programmes or watch BBC TV channels on BBC iPlayer.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/ques ... outside-uk
These companies are now getting very good at sensing if you are using a VPN. So what may work today, might not work next week.

It's legal to use a VPN here in Spain, and rather than ' sensing' that you are using a VPN the BBC uses special detection software to block any IP address that they discover is being used as a VPN .
And anyone using a VPN on a regular basis are fully aware of the BBC's policy of receiving iPlayer outside of the UK.

Just to liven this up a bit, it is only because the EU are sulking over Brexit that we have to use a VPN. Shouldn't be required, can't use sky, Amazon prime and a load of other things. I say, use a VPN and F the EU.

I get Sky, Amazon Prime ( ES) and loads of other things.
Don't start the Woke brigade on downloading film and music torrents .. for free.
