Wasn't the Luton Airport fire started maliciously?

The authorities were quick to say at the time, that the origin of the fire was a diesel vehicle, but I have seen that someone checked the registration from a phone video and it was a diesel-hybrid. I find it very strange that there's been little in the way of public investigation. You would think the authorities would want to put a stop to all of the bad publicity and rumours about EVs?

Think I will believe the fire brigade rather than someone on here spreading false info:

Thr government and the body in charge of getting EVs out there will lie through their teeth so there is no bad publicity about them
Already they are proving next to useless on price, distance , damage to the environment, referring to the batteries, damage to infrastructure, ie roads and car parks , the list goes on
Think how many billions all this is costing , and add that to the scandalous waste and cost of PPE equipment during covid ,profit benefitted by some politicians, and it just shows someone is making a fortune from the introduction of EVs , this will turn into another scandal in years to come, just like the post office fiasco, mark my words

The investigation into the cause of the fire continues, but it has been determined that the vehicle that first caught fire was a diesel car. Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s fire investigation team will be working closely with Bedfordshire Police to get a better understanding of what happened on Tuesday evening, and why

They need also to explain why the fire was so intense that the building as good as melted.
