Depends what the talent was, and perhaps whether it was sellable.

Approach the subject subtly in a joking manner, I think as a first step before being more direct.

Would try to help if possible but would depend on what sacrifices and who it was

Work and eat.

What would you do if you could un-invent something in, and what would it be ?

Smartphones.I can't remember people being so obsessed with their phone when it was an old Nokia.

What would you do if you overachieved at something?

Be surprised and probably keep quiet.

What would you create if you had a 3D printer ?

Saw a programme about making artifical limbs using a 3D printer so I think it would have to be something for the benefit of others.

What would you do if you saw someone sleeping on the streets this Christmas?

See if they were receptive of any assistance. First thought was money, but that might not be what the actually really want.
