I'll let you know tomorrow.Bee wrote: 08 Apr 2021 09:33 It has been decided to move all vacconations to the Centra Ocio Municipal. So tomorrow Friday 9th some 2000 over 80s will receive their Moderna vaccine at the Centre. Torrevieja Health Area has been slow in rolling out the vaccine to the over 80s as it was being done in the Health Centres. Moving it to the CMO will see them complete this age group. People have reported that it is super efficient at the CMO.

You go to your nearest Health Centre with up-to-date Padron and Residencia Cert/card. You sign on the Register and give your mobile phone nos for the SMS text for your appointment.sueh21 wrote: 06 Apr 2021 19:17 We are both on private healthcare, so how do we go about getting the vaccine...................

My appointment was for 17.12 hrs ?? and I arrived at 16.50 hrs because my wife was at out doctors in the morning just round the corner and said it was very busy.
I parked in the big car park next door and I wouldn't say it was overly busy.
You exit the car park and there are barriers to make sure you keep to the right when approaching the entrance. There was no queue just three security staff who sprayed my hands and directed me to a policeman just inside the door on the right who then directed me to another policeman further down the hall who was showing people which queue to stand in, there were seven in number I think.
You then wait as each person in front of you is dealt ( about 3 ) and then you approach a lecturn and you give your SIP card which is checked on the computer. I was asked for my passport but I had my spanish driving license which was just fine. She handed back my cards and to me that I will need to come back in three weeks for my second one but will in informed by sms.
I was then directed to sit in a booth just behind her and immediately a sexy nurse came and gave me my jab after rolled my sleeve. She then told my go and sit in another big hall ' durante quince minutos' .. I said ' cinco minutos' and she said with a lovely smile...' No quince ! You then sit in a chair which social distanced from the others and I noticed that when people got up to go after their waiting time, they turned their chair round and it wasn't until as I saw a young guy disinfecting it did I realise the reason, yet there were no signs up to tell you to do this.
After my five minutes was up !!!!! I did the same and left out of the side door and when I looked at my watch it was 17.11hrs.

Was that okay Bee.

Yes BB a most comprehensive report thank you which confirms the super efficient service. I am especially delighted the nurse was to specification. I am sure she helped greatly with the reduced 5 min recovery time

Yes Bee, I'm a sucker for a smile from a pretty girl in a nurse's uniform, or any uniform for that matter.Bee wrote: 10 Apr 2021 19:04 Yes BB a most comprehensive report thank you which confirms the super efficient service.
