If you try to access the alternative site recommended kickass.to it asks you to register for a VPN first before allowing a download , which is strange
It could be information gathering

I have been using pirate bay and Limewire torrents just this week, both have been working, sometimes you need to keep deleting the vpn and other advert pages that appear, several times before you are allowed to download, or even search for the required torrent file.

I use RARBG and 1337x with no problem downloading torrents and always get download speeds of 50 mbps +

I tried to download a torrent from Kickass but I had to register first, so I gave a little used email address, it then wanted me to verify my ' free ' account by giving them my credit card details including the CCV2 number saying..

There has recently been a flurry of article on how the police 'cracked' Encrochat and busted hundreds of crooks.

Dont believe it. Encrochat was a honeytrap run by the FBI, its an open secret in profession IT circles. They had backdoors built into the hidden O/S on the handsets, no hacking required. But like the Enigma secret in WW2, the cover story of hacking it is in place is to hide the truth so they can run a other such honeypots in the future. I have seen supporting evidence.

I used to use torrent sites but since the inception of streaming and ways to achieve it, I no longer have the need for torrents. I find most items be it live TV, TV series, and even VOD movies soon after release. Suppose it's down to the individual in the end. Good luck everyone.
