The nests are now building, so be aware if you are in an area of lots of pine trees. When I see them, I break of the branch, either stamp on it, or bin it.......................Not one of Natures best.

They are for nothing at all. The moth lays the eggs on the pine needles, they eat the trees, then when they drop, if yr dog is a sniffer and gets sprayed buy them, then it`s a race to the vets....................

Be careful stamping on the nest, it can spread it and when airborne dangerous if inhaled for both animals and humans
The only sure way to destroy it is by burning it in a concealed area

I wouldn`t touch a full blown nest, I`m talking before they even hatch out of the egg case...........

...just read in the Mail on Sunday, about the time Joan Collins was sat at a table on a beach in St Tropez.

Suddenly a frenchwoman strode up and with a swipe knocked Joan's wide brimmed sun hat off her head!

"What the hell!!" screamed Joan.

"caterpillar" said the frenchwoman....it was a processionary caterpillar that had dropped from the pine tree above...

.could have been very nasty for Joan...
