Gas explosion destroys apartment in Calle Diego Ramirez

What is believed to be a gas explosion destroyed an apartment and damaged adjoining property in a building on Calle Diego Ramirez last night. It is looking a bit suspicious as to whether deliberate or accidental. No trace of the owner has been found within the apartment and several gas bottles both the camping and larger bottles were stored in the apartment. It appears the owner has had several disagreements with other occupants of the building.

Bit of a rude awakening for the neighbours, and lucky that no one was injured.

Article has since been update since you posted the link Bee, and indicates that the owner of the apartment concerned had mental health issues.

He has now been found apparently

Yes it said he went into the Farmacia on Carretera Torrejon and they recognised him and rang the Policia. I know that Farmacia it is the one we go to all the time and there are lots of places he could hide out around there including 3 Parks.

According to the latest update the Farmacia said the gentleman walked into the chemist, said who he was and asked them to ring the Policia. They did as he requested and the Policia arrived and took him away.

Not surprisingly, remanded to prison without bail.
