taking foodstuff to spain

Hi all,
We used to take some of our local foodstuff out to spain ( square sliced sausage, plain bread, cheese, etc>) I take it that is now banned after brexit?

Yes it is banned. Whether they check varies.

It was reported early on that drivers entering France had all those type of profucts confiscated, even sandwiched that contained meat.

Others may have experience of what happens at the sirport.

You used to be able to get square sausage slices in Pick and Pay at Guardamar

Too far away for us crummy, no transport out in spain,
Suppose we could get a couple sent to cabo roig in a taxi... :D :D :D

I dont think they would check every passenger and every bag. Not sure they have sniffer dogs like USA and OZ.

Not sure if they fine you or just confiscate it.
