That's correct, and the AP7 tolls between Valencia - Tarragona will be also be abolished on 01/01/2020.

I think I am right in saying that not everyone's a winner unfortunately with this decision. I believe that abolition of these tolls and the removal of the private companies managing the roads means reduced revenue for the local governments the AP7 passes through and they will now also be responsible for the costs associated with the maintenance of the road.

I'm waiting for section from the Los Balcones to La Zenia to free up .. although since the dualling of the N332 from Punta Prima it hasn`t been too bad.

Do you think there is any chance of that happening seeing as they have now sorted that stretch of the 332.?

The AP7 south of Alicante down to Murcia will not be toll free until the contract runs out in 2042 unless it is bought out by the government

I`ll be 96 years old then.
Something to look forward to I suppose.
