What is a Selling Agent's average commission for selling one's property and are there any inexpensive ways to sell without using an agent, apart from advertising a sale yourself? TIA
Commission ranges from 3 to 15% on property sales through estate agents but there are plenty offering a fixed fee service and no sale no fee look in the free papers
It is very easy to advertise the property yourself in the papers and putting a sign on the property but make sure you get a good solicitor to handle the contract
Do not overprice the property if the price is right and the location is good it will sell if presented well
