Alicante Airport Closure

Just for information, Alicante Airport gave advance notice that the airport would close yesterday from 13:00 partly due to the then incoming Storm Gloria and because of the loose debris that still remains in situ from the roof fire last week.
The airport was scheduled to be re-opened for flights today at 13:00, however due to the storm remaining in the region the airport will now remain closed until 06:00 tomorrow.
Flights scheduled to/from Alicante are now arriving/departing Corvera or Valencia with airlines arranging the necessary transfers between airports.
