Prime Video App on Firestick

I have the Prime Video App on my Firestick but when I try to go back to watch earlier episodes in a series it will not play them. All the episodes are there but clicking on them gives you nada. I can cast them from my mobile app to the tv on Google Chrome no bother. Is this normal with Prime or is there a workaround for the Firestick.

I have just tried to watch early episodes of lord of the Rings and had no problems I would suggest a clearing of the cache.
Have you paid for your subscription ?

Yes Fred. I have a monthly subscription. I will try the cache and see how it goes. We wanted to watch Clarkson's Farm but it is stuck on Episode 8 and if we click on the earlier episodes nothing happens.

As an update. I cleared the cache and did a restart but still no go. I went into my Amazon Account to confirm my subscriptions just in case. Then tried it again on Firestick and hey presto I can now watch all the episodes. I didn't do anything to fix it!

Just to borrow this thread, my UK content on my Firestick, specifically BBC news, has lost its video, I get the sound OK but no picture, am I doing something wrong?

Thanks freddo, done that, all up to date but did not solve the problem. I can, using the various TV apps, find a working copy of BBC News. However I can get lots of UK channels with sound but no vision and lots with vision but no sound. It needs a lot of searching to find the channels I want with both sound and vision. It was not like this when I first installed it.

If it was mine I would be looking to cancel the app and reinstalling if you used Downloader look in Files on Left side and you should find the download link there
