Could do with some rain, a dark sky at times has threatened it for the past couple of days but it came to nothing.

Well it rained tonight while we were out for dinner. Luckily the restaurant had a cover over the terrace ... others were'nt so lucky, but our garden furniture got a soaking.

Well, we've not had the expected influx here. In fact we have had no Spanish visitors at all. !!

Well my post last night did not age well, outdated within 2 hours as the area was hit by rain and wind. Apart from the much needed rain, it cleared the humidity after the hot day.

Last night's storm seemed to be stubborn to move from the coast. Several planes arriving into Alicante were delayed and circled off the coast for a while with another from Scotland initially diverting to Valenica before later continuing onto Alicante - departures seemed largely unaffected as they took off an inland direction.

When we went out I felt a few tiny spots but thought no more if it and assumed there was a storm inland somewhere and we often gets spots of rain on a clear sky when that happens.
But it wasn't until we were settling down to our meal that I realised that this was not the case this time and black sky said it all.
