Average Price Of Property in Torrevieja = €163,066
Average Price Of Property in Torrevieja = €163,066
Torrevieja comes in as the 5th lowest (municipality wise) in Spain, with Santa Pola 1st.

Whilst Santa Pola has the lowest average property prices, the article says it is amongst the most demanded areas. Maybe you would think high demand municipality, average property prices would be higher ?

€163,066 for the average property in Torrevieja seems about right from what I've seen in my area.
Maybe Santa Pola is amongst the most demanded areas because it has the lowest average property price.
I don't understand Spanish logic sometimes.

The words Spanish and Logic never go together !Brandyboy wrote: 15 Jun 2023 08:34 €163,066 for the average property in Torrevieja seems about right from what I've seen in my area.

It's going to be hard for Bullies to stop what they are so good at.

I would have thought €160000 is quite high as an average for Torrevieja. I presume the new builds like the ones in Punta Prima are bringing up the average as they seem to be priced quite high.

That's the average price for a 3 bed 2 bath duplex / townhouse where I live south of Torrevieja. We have two at around that price on our community.Bee wrote: 15 Jun 2023 10:47 I would have thought €160000 is quite high as an average for Torrevieja. OK BB. Teach me to read the article
I hadn't realised it was 3 bed. Good value at that. They usually base things on the sq mtr price whereas we are used to basing prices on the area the property is in.

It doesn't actually say what kind of property they are referring to or how many bedrooms / bathrooms they have.
But I would say a three bed pròperty could be classed as ' average.

Wouldn't you think they would reference the name of the article they quote from Idealista so that we might make some sense of it. It means nothing the way they have reported it.

It’s taken long enough for prices to go up! New apartments are being built closeby ( 5 blocks in total). The starting price is €290,000 up to the penthouses at €500,000. I enquired about a new apartment on La Mata sea front ( morning sun) I was given a ludicrous figure of over €500,000.
If that’s what new apartments cost then we must all except realistic prices for ours. In fairness, it’ll be important to keep our places up to date and smart. When you look in through the open doors of some places, they are truly archaic. No doubt in years to come, they’ll be sold and completely revamped and brought up to date. Some of the properties opposite the beach in La Mata have been gutted and now are quite spectacular.
