Mobile phone battery conundrum

#1

Post: # 41609Post chrisz »

Can anyone solve a mystery I have with my mobile phone when in Spain?

My battery in the UK typically lasts for around 6 days before needing recharging.

In Spain it lasts for less than 18 hours! I don't have roaming or mobile data switched on.

After my last visit I bought a new battery but that hasn't made a blind bit of difference.

Can anyone shed some light??

It's a Samsung J4 but mobile data is always switched off. I never take it out of the house in Spain but connect it to the house wifi which is nothing different to what I do back in the UK.

You might have programmes running. ?
Go to Settings > System > Developer Options. If you don't see Developer Options, scroll down and select About phone, then look for Build number and tap it seven times. Tap Running Services. It shows the apps currently running on your Android, how much RAM they're consuming, and how long each has been running.
It's going to be hard for Bullies to stop what they are so good at.😁😁

Wouldn't the same apps be running both here and the UK?
