Posted purely because some people from this area get referred to the Vega Baja Hospital for treatment, as opposed to getting alarmist.

Due to an increase in Covid admissions (from 5 to 30), Vega Baja Hospital have reintroduced the mandatory wearing of face masks within the hospital, plus restricting to one companion per patient.

Yes, I will. It is most important that we all do. This disease is still around. hence the rise in admissions at the Vega Baja Hospital. Are there any likewise figures for Torrevieja Hospital?

I have not seen anything. I cannot even remember reading about anything locally Covid related in recent months, or even hearing anyone mention that they had tested positive.

Fine by me ..I have had flu jabs every year for around 40 years... The only time I missed it I got a stinking bout of flu and it was not fun...


I won't miss either the flu or covid jab again.
