I don't undesrstand the ins and outs of running a forum but I am glad that Carl does . Good moderating and obeying the rules are essential to keeping this site active.

I suspect it was my somewhat colourful names that I gave Trump sometimes, and although I feel that he deserved every one, in hindsight, I admit were very near the mark and would have been considered extremely disparaging. No wonder he complained.
So in future just Trump it is.

But the Politics section did need clearing out, and it's good to start with a clean slate, free from any stench from the cesspit ... and it will remain so.

But hey, today is a new dawn for the American people and Democracy, when Ex-President Tramp starts his journey in a Miama courthouse and ends it in prison.

It will be a long journey because of the American judicial system, but he has other serious Federal charges coming up, plus lots of Civil indictments, so he will keep us all entertained for a while yet.
