...for this awful woeful government to call a GE and give the beleaguered people of the UK an opportunity to be rid of them?.....how in the name of all that's holy can the most important policy you have be a plan to send a plane load of immigrants and asylum seekers to a country most famous for a violent civil war.....irony of irony....we have 30 plus asylum seekers applying from......Rwanda.

I agree. I used to be a Tory but not now

The rot set in with Boris giving all the plum jobs to his friends whether they could do the job or not. When Boris was kicked out Sunak needed all the same people to put him in as PM so we still had Boris's incompetents in plum jobs... the only way to get rid is for Labour to get in (did I just say that?!) and give the Torys a chance to clean out the stable.

For the first time in my life I might vote Labour next time.

I can't vote living here but I tend to agree as well. I was also a life long supporter of the Tories but I think it's now time for a change.

Ex Pats who have been out of the UK over 15 years will be able to vote, shortly.

It’s a good idea to keep one eye on UK politics, then you can make accurate comment.
Still, I guess as events in the USA dominate your life, I don’t suppose you have much time for politics that is actually relevant to you. Just saying.

Lifelong Labour voter me, and yes I will be voting the same in the next election. It is interesting to see that polls predict that the "red wall" constituencies will revert to Labour this time round

Personally I would prefer a different Labour leader, Keir Starmer doesn't inspire me at all, Lisa Nandy gets my vote.

Personally, I'm not really interested in UK politics and haven't been for a while, so it's just as well I can't vote, but I agree a change of government is needed.

I find American politics much more exciting and it's gets up peoples noses. :D

But whether it's American or UK politics, neither affect my day to day life here n Spain, but I do feel sorry for friends and family in both countries.

All politicians are only out for what they can get out of it for themselves

Imo politicians are like social workers. There are good and bad ones, but sadly the bad far outnumber the good. If you are lucky enough to find a good one they can be absolutely brilliant.
