Squeezey jet have started flights from Southampton to Alicante. It's only on Sundays, and as per normal too late for the airport bus. Departs Southampton @ 20:20 arriving 23:40

Return flight departs Alicante 18:20 arriving 19:50

That's a tight turn around, 30 minutes

I do not think the Southampton - Alicante route has been served by an airline since the demise (first time round in 2020) of Flybe.

I can remember Easyjet doing a press release at the beginning of the year. I didn't realize that it was only flight a week.

The problem with Southampton airport is the length of the runway. It has just been extended by 146 metres, but its hemmed in by the M27 at one end and an industrial estate at the other end.
