Free Masks

The Valencian government are making free face masks available from today to those over 65 and others with medical conditions. (Cancer treatments etc.).
You are entitled to 3 per person and they are dispensed through Farmacias.
Take your SIP card and that of any others in your household who may be entitled so that only one person needs to enter the shop, as per supermarket shopping.
Curiously our local Farmacia charged one cent per 3 masks. I suspect this may be due to their fancy cash management system being unable to cope with the idea of giving something away free.
The National Government it currently working up proposals to limit the price of face masks when sold to those not entitled to receive them free.
Not before time, at the start of the outbreak I was charged €4.95 for a flimsy mask that wasn't really worth 50 cents.

Orihuela sent out an email this week to residents advising that free face masks were available from pharmacies for those that meet the criteria, however I was told this afternoon by someone who visited the pharmacy at Zenia Boulevard this morning that they do not have any and maybe, possibly, in 2 - 3 days time they might.

I would have thought delivery to homes would and should have been the only option to obtain the masks, not asking people to travel to a pharmacy whislt being told to stay at home.

I went to the local Farmacia today , to collect my 3 face masks I'm entitled to, as a pensioner.
They didn't have any .
The young assistant told me they're expecting them on Tuesday.
