You don't have to accept a voucher. You are entitled to a refund

But how do you apply for the refund?

Don't know if this suggestion will be of any use to those with residency but as a non resident I contacted my UK credit card company and under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act they are jointly liable for transactions over £100 if paid by credit card. We had problems with Ryanair over voucher/refund but after contacting our credit card company they have refunded our original Ryanair payment (and they will now deal with Ryanair).
