I absolutely loved Cream...immence influence on me...never heard anything like them, Bruce, Clapton, Bakerr...

Fresh cream, the Album I bought....stuffed down the drain in the road outside by the girl I jilted,as i took on a new life...

Looking back...foolish...cruel..but wanted change in my life, and so it happened........

Thank you, graciously, James B..

Early days, loved Tommy Steele...my Mum knitted me a jumper like Tommy wore in "The Duke Wore Jeans"..
My pal had an Auntie about a mile away who had a radiogram...and a record of "singing the blues", well, worth that walk once a week!, :D :D

I'm old enough to have seen some of the Greats of the early sixties. I remember seeing a one night tour at the Granada Harrow where the Rolling Stones closed the first half with (I think) Roy Orbison topping the bill.

Loved the Beatles, saw them in a Liverpool Christmas show use the word saw as I never heard a note they played so much screaming.

Favourite all time album has to be Paul Simons "Graceland" every track superb.

I also saw the Beatles performing in Cardiff Capitol Theatre in December 1965 .
It was the the opening night of what was to be their last tour of the UK.
Like Stowie39 - once the curtains opened, I couldn't hear what they were singing .
The screaming and hysteria from the audience , made them completely inaudible , and I had a front row seat ( courtesy of my sister , who worked for the rank organisation who owned the theatre).
I was 14 years old at the time - and decided that night , if I did nothing else with my life - I would definately go into the music business.
Watching the fab 4 , realising that were earning good money for having fun, and seeing the female adulation for them , convinced me that this was a good career choice.
