If the name Matt Smith sounds familiar then you might remember that him and his business, One Way Services in Quesada, were at the centre of an investigation surrounding doctored padrons back in 2021 which had led to a number of elderly expats being arrested and questioned by Policia Nacional.

If you are referring to the padron issue Fred, I am not sure what the outcome was. The last Olive Press article on this matter I could find is the one linked below, which suggests the issue was still under investigation at that time.
