From today's Informacion. It says five of the high rise buildings are to be in Cala Palangre - Los Locos -and 9 in Los Naufragos. Yes that adds up to 14 not 13!!
I have copied the links of the 2 studies published in the DOGV yesterday. The html link can be converted to English and is in larger type. The buildings are prohibited from casting shadows on tge nearby beaches between 10.00am and 7.00pm. They sound like very big monstrosities at 29 floors.

This was in yesterday's Daily Mail:

The title of the article is misleading as it says "Demand", whereas it actually refers to interest shown online. Punta Prima gets a mention. How much interest converts to sales is another story.

Most likely a renewal of a licence that was granted a few years ago and is coming to expiry date without the developer doing any ground works on the sites

Bearing in mind the sun is 'over the sea' for most of the day, I would say that any buildings there would NEVER cast a shadow on the nearby beaches no matter how tall they were!

Looks like the high rise towers are going ahead.

Metrovacesa has resumed its proposed construction of three skyscrapers between Marina Internacional and Avenida de Gregorio Maranon . The documentation for the strategic environmental and territorial assessment (IATE) of the detailed study is currently in the consultation period. The firm plans to build two towers of 29 floors and 93 meters high for residential use and another of 25 floors and hotel use, 44,000 buildable square meters on a plot of only 13,000.
