Had any body got any ideas of price and contact details as need a EPC (energy performance certificate) also out of interest how does one go about getting a habitation certificate ?

Yes they are based in the Murcia region, they did an EPC and Habitacion certificate in Torrevieja for me a couple of months ago, they don't have a problem moving between regions as they are classed as an essential service, also Antonio speaks perfect English.

What do they actually do to ascertain a EPC certificate as most houses in spain would be G rated . Do they actually check electric and water use or cavity walls?

yes and you are correct about the rating

Well did ring martinezdelascasa and got quoted 461€ for combined EPC and habitation certificate which was ok but managed to find a spanish architect called Asier who done both for a combined fee of 305€ and that considering orihuela is a lot more expensive than torrevieja. Amazing also got quoted 600€ so somebody making a nice little earner from it.
