Skype problem

I have had a skype uk number for many years that i pay a yearly subscription for and it is due for renewal in july
It has worked perfectly for all this time but i have now found i am not receiving incoming calls to my android phone
I checked on their website for solutions and google also but everything they suggested i have tried, reinstalling skype, trying skype lite, restarting the phone, checking all my notifications and what is on and off that could affect calls, the only thing i havent done is a factory reset as i dont want to lose all my passwords and apps and have to reinstall everything
There are many people having the same problem and skype know about it
I have sent them 2 messages but dont expect a reply or solution
I dont want to lose my number and cannot see any company i can change to and retain it
If anyone has had this problem and know a solution i would be grateful
