Intercom Phone in Apartment

Hi folks my Intercom phone in Apartment seems dead I can’t see any battery in this, just wondering if these are replaced etc any help appreciated

what make is it looks like FERMAX
The power supply is 4802. Power supply 12Vac / 1A-DIN4 and is in the buzzer box on the entry door I think it will be a yellow coloured battery

Oh the actual intercom at main door , do u know anyone who can change this or do I have to go through community

Maintenance guy looked at me in amazement , Fred does every apartment have to put this battery at the buzzer at main entrance for everyone .or is it to be put in my apartment itself

I was thinking of a stand alone system not a communal one yours could be powered by the mains but it has to draw power from somewhere

When you say maintenance man do you mean the Community maintenance man. The Community would be responsible for the entry phones at the entrance to the bloque of apartments. He should be able to tell you if the problem is at the bloque entrance or in your apartment. If the problem is at the entrance then the Community should fix it. I presume if it is not working inside your apartment door then you would have to fix it.
