So the clock is ticking and were about to exit Europe in less than 9 months. All be it. We have purchased in spain to live there one day yes i have 10 years to work or so the government think in the Uk my wife has 2 years. So if we dont move were scuppered basically. As we all know you need money to live in spain and function jobs are not easy to come by unless you speak fluent Spanish and learning Spanish in 9 months is not happening so then would like to work for a company so its thinking caps on and do what we must but we could miss out on such a lovely life style and the place we love and the locals. But could there be a way of a change and both governments agree a treaty of some kind. Or is it a case of pipe dreams or blowing smoke where we must not say. Life can be cruel. But. I am certainly gonna give a good go in obtaining work in spain and enjoy a nicer way of life and even one day i Aim to speak Spanish watch this space. Lol

10 years is along time and so many things can happen. I would be hopeful that close links will remain between the UK and the EU. Who knows there mightn't even be an EU. There may be some recognition for UK citizens who already have a property in Spain. I am sure you will get to realise your dream. I don't think Spain can do without the British.
