Dog Walking Restrictions Under Coronavirus 'Lockdown'

Just thought it was worth highlighting that under the 'lockdown' you can only take your dog for a short exercise walk to meet their physiological needs. During the walk you are forbidden to make contact with other animals and people.

Additionally, similar to the one person/one car rule in place, there is a one dog/one person rule when taking a dog out for a walk during the 'lockdown'.

So what is a short exercise walk ? Well Policia Local (Orihuela) in the media are saying that it is 100 metres from your property.

It is better to remain on your property and just walk around your own space as you could pick the virus up from the street onto your shoes or your dogs paws, and its difficult to stop your dog sniffing the ground, its in their nature
When they are spraying the streets you realise it is for this reason, the virus could be on the paving or tarmac from a previous pedestrian
If you decide to go out i would recommend you change your shoes at the front door and wipe down your dogs paws with an anti bacterial
At least if your dog jumps on you or your settee or bed it wont then spread
