I agree with you the Covid Enquiry is exposing serious failures across government, it’s a black comedy. When this lot get booted as they undoubtedly will, will we pass into the hands of competents? Sadly, I doubt it.

Judging on his performance over the past few weeks Starmer has more than a gaffe in him as he tries to be all things to all men. Angela “ya know ya know ya know” Rayner hardly instils confidence. I think Labour is more than capable of being at least as incompetent as the Tories, should we be happy with that? There is though within their ranks one shining light, Wes Streeting who is a man if his health holds up who is destined for the top but how long we have to wait for him to get there remains to be seen.
