Hi, I'm now in Torrevieja and like the seafront. The town center seems ok as well, but must admit that I have not seen a lot of it, because busy locking for an apartment. Was a big mistake coming now, because the season starts and it is difficult to find an apartment for at least 6 months, but now I need to get through it - is it allowed to put up a tent on the beach???

Never mind have been visiting a lot of estate agents today and one has an apartment Calle Valencia, Acequion. This is quite close to the salt lake and I'm concerned that there are maybe a lot of mosquitos???? I like to sit outside but I don't like to be eaten by mosquitos. Does anybody live there and could tell me how it is please.

Calle Valencia is not near the salt lake and the bottom end is close to the Acequión Beach.

I was a bit puzzled about the Salt Lake being near Calle Valencia as you would have to cross the N332 and travel a bit inland before you met the Salt Lake. What some people were reporting down that way was a smell from the Sewage Works every now and then.

In the summer when driving in to torrevieja
On the N332. When you pass the cemetery it does chuck up a bit.
