Unfortunately nobody wins in this scenario. Unlike in China where people have to do as their leader tells them there will be blood on the street in the US if this fiasco continues. Manufacturing left the US many moons ago because of cost of production and dare I say it inferior products.

I am willing to bet trump and his cronies are making billions out of all this, he is controlling the stock markets , causing them to drop and rise with his announcements
He will be buying shares at their lowest point and selling them at their highest
He has just announced a suspension of most of the tariffs except the 10% for 90 days
Plenty of time to sell the shares they must have purchased during the crash
If i can see through it all then surely the experts can, but nobody else has mentioned it ???
Maybe his mate in Russia has been tipped off too

No it's the Bond Market that has stopped him in his tracks. The Bond market decides interest rates for country, mortgages, business and personal borrowing. When that market decides your country is becoming a risk then you are in trouble as the cost of borrowing goes up and it trickles down to everything. We all remember 2008 in Ireland and the calling in of the IMF. China is one of the biggest buyer/holder of US bonds and it is suspected they have been selling down in recent days to spook Trump and the Administration.

Investors have been having a field day short term investments are bringing in profits of around 30 percent and only being held for about 25 to 30 days

Oh yes they are. Trouble is he's got his cronies in charge of the SEC so nobody is going to do anything about it.
