Yellow weather warning Issued by AEMET for tomorrow between 4pm and 10pm.

'Moderate thunderstorm warning. Southern coast of Alicante: Possible very strong gusts of wind, hail, and locally heavy showers. Be aware and keep up to date with the latest weather forecast. Moderate damage to people and property may occur, especially to those vulnerable or in exposed areas.'

Tonight we've had some isolated showers that have accumulated up to 2 liters per square meter in San Luis and La Mata. Other parts of the city have barely seen a drop of rain, although some thunder was heard. Photo: Joaquín Carrión.

Not just rain, but hail too. The storm has moved from Los Montesinos to La Mata, leaving around two liters per square meter and even hail in the La Siesta area, from where these images recorded by Lauren Jade come to us.

We had a shower of thundery rain in La Mata. Some thunder and lightening but it was all over in 5 minutes.

We had nothing in Punta Prima. A couple rumbles of thunder and few flashes of lightning and that was it. Yet another non event.
