Just wondering whether anyone has any views on whether this is a good, bad or indifferent idea ? Other suggestions possibly ?

A fair and equitable solution. The only other way would be to pm the answers to Carl, but that would take up too much of admin's time.

Thank you for the feedback received so far.
The only thought that has crossed my mind is that if after member X post there is no subsequent post by another member, then that would prevent member X from posting further answers, if they know them of course. This is a possibility, but the probability of this happening is unknown at this time and can be addressed if and when it arises.

Based on the feedback, the trial will be made permanent and I will add a 'sticky' to this section of the forum.
